We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands where we live, work, and  recognize their continuing cultural connection to the lands, seas, waters, skies and community.  We pay respect to our Elders – past and present and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities have in developing creative, academic, and scientific thought on these skies, lands, seas and waters within the Festival.
